About the Author

Stephen Einhorn

Stephen Einhorn is currently a General Partner in a Midwest venture fund called Capital Midwest Fund which focuses on technologies with advanced software for Business to Business applications. From 1976 until 2008 Mr. Einhorn led a merger and acquisition firm that specialized in chemical transactions and participated in the sale of about 200 companies. For ten years prior to that, Mr. Einhorn worked as a chemist and general manager of a family-owned chemical business called Adelphi Paint and Color Works which manufactured and sold paints and adhesives. Mr. Einhorn’s education includes a Bachelor of Chemistry degree from Cornell University; a Master’s Degree in Polymeric Materials (large molecules, plastics) from Brooklyn Polytech Institute; and one year at Wharton graduate school.
